I do think btw that DD1 wants it to be a story, and a narrative. DP left a FC outfit hanging up last year (he'd been the FC at his works do - quite why they wanted a short Asian bloke to do it beats me, but he had a whale of a time asking his rather strict female boss if she'd been a good girl) and she and I constructed a long story about him nipping in for a shower...but I really don't know how far DD1's concept of the world distinguishes the real and the imaginary. I know I tell her the Christmas story as one of a baby and a winter festival
