Trolls will be whacked unconscious with a brick and wake to find sensitive parts of their anatomy in a mangle.

LOL Soupie !

It's just a bit sad that I'm hard pressed to think of something fantastic that my kids have done recently...

DS1 snuggled up to me in bed yesterday morning and said "You're so beautiful, mummy" but I think I've used that when he's said it before.

My ds told me I was a 'big boy' today. Well, it made me laugh.

SamboM · 24/06/2003 16:55

My almost 10 mos dd said Woof to the dog this morning!!!

wickedstepmother · 24/06/2003 16:57

Ahh bless. Now that she has mastered crawling, my DD chases the cats around the living room floor in an attempt to grab their tails !

M2T · 24/06/2003 16:58

Ds was pointing at a bubble in the paint work on the stairs the other day as asked "whats aaaat?" and dp told him it was a bird poo! Now every time he goes up the stairs he insists on stopping to say "ba bye" to the bird poo!!!

Claireandrich · 24/06/2003 17:01

I have a poorly eye at the moment and 14 month old DD keeps coming to me, pointing to my eye and saying ouch!, followed by a big cuddle and a sloppy kiss to make it better. Makes me feel better loads.

aloha · 24/06/2003 17:03

My ds also 'reads' to our cat, sits with her on the sofa, turning the pages of one of his books and chatters away. He also tries to put it between her paws for her to look at. My dh intervened, saying "Mimi doesn't want the book' and ds said, indignantly "Mimi LIKES book!".

wickedstepmother · 24/06/2003 17:07

LOL Aloha ! Doesn't DH realise that a toddler is ALWAYS right ?!

codswallop · 24/06/2003 19:29

sassy · 24/06/2003 19:34

My DH picked up dd from childminder on Friday. First time he's done it and he was gutted 'cos she cried when she saw him and held arms out to childminder! BUT on Sunday, he came into house and she saw him, shouted "Da da", and crawled over as fast as she could. He was all happy then. Bless...
WickedSM - my dd does the cat thing too - fab to watch isn't it!

emsiewill · 24/06/2003 23:25

Had dds' reports today - dd1's is exceptional, dd2's is good with slight reservations (she "can be overexcitable" - understatement! ). I'm so proud of them both, no matter how much I moan about them, they always manage to do something that reminds me how brilliant they really are. And I don't care if I sound like I'm showing off - why shouldn't I?
