Well done to all your clever little ones It's nice to be able to say how proud you are as it can be difficult at the school gates.

My son's 7 and got all 3s.

sparklymieow · 12/07/2005 23:42

Well done to everyone, don't we have a lot of clever kids on here??

Well done to them all!

DS1 aged 11 got 3 5's in KS2 sats and also took a year 7 paper in maths and got 2 x 6A's and 2 x 6B's - haven't a clue where he gets it from

sparklymieow · 13/07/2005 15:46

spoke to one of the mums today, and she is p*ssed off with her daughter's SATs results, she got one 3, and the rest were 2's, she said she expected her dd to get top marks in everything.... and its the school's fault!!

sparklymieow · 13/07/2005 15:53

Just think it sad when people can't be happy that their children are doing well.

spacecadet · 13/07/2005 16:02

thats terrible, i always say to mine, try your best, you cant do any better than that.

sparklymieow · 13/07/2005 16:04

The girl in question is smart, I have babysat for them and she can read very well, her mum said her reading is 1 yr ahead. But it can't be the school fault if most of the children did very well can it???

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 13/07/2005 16:05

and she EXPECTED her dd to get 3 in everything. I didn't expect DS to get any 3, 2 would have been fine with me, but he got 2 3's to I am happy.

sounds like the mother put too much pressure on the little girl and she possibly wobbled a bit during her sats, no surprise really, anyway i think far too much emphasis is put on SATS by some parents.

pindy · 13/07/2005 16:24

well done to everyone - my ds (11) got all 5's - very proud
