We all know language eveolves, though most of us are highly resistant to its change when such change is rapid and significant.

I will fight it too as 1. I can't text speak properly and 2. I don't want to.

A teenager's short hand is like long hand to me.

However, I am aware that this is typical historically, and whether we like it or not language will change. I just wonder in what precise direction...
