went to the post office/one stop shop today. to get to the post office part i had to move a cratew of beer out the way which had been left in the aisle. (the aisles are very narrow.) when i went to leave the post office i went up the middle aisle. got to the end and it was half blocked with a chcoclate display. i couldnt back up with the buggy due to the post office queue. i asked one of the assistants (psh!!) to move the display so i could get out, half way through he went to deal with somethign else. leaving half the stock on the floor. i could've ran over the lot, but i picked it up and threw it on the counter quite hard as i went out.

it just really pees me off in there./ the shop isnt accessable for buggies or wheelchair users. the aisles are narrow and always seem to be blocked.

well done zipzip.
Although you sound a bit shocked at yourself, you also sound secretly proud of yourself too and so you should be, well done girl!
Especially liked the "Mlud", made me laugh out loud, well worth coming back for, that story.
Well done again!

My mother took aload of Windsmoor and Planet stuff to her local charity shop when she lost weight some years back. They told her it was too good for them and wouldn't take it!

whew! I thought you were all going to think I was awful and make me leave....

Pruni - you describe those charity shop ladies so well!! I always think they have spent their lives being told by hubby they are not allowed to work, and then well hubby goes, they 'volunteer' and their pent up need for responsibility comes out....and hits us in the face!

Tissy! I'm shocked and hurt for you!

Donbean - I guess I am proud of myself . I have spent my life so far not saying boo to a goose, but lately have begun to stick up for myself. I've found that if you are in the right, it always has a happy ending.

as a footnote, i must add that I go to some great charity shops, with lovely staff and without these places me and son wouldn't have the books, clothes, videos etc we have
