how many credit cards do you and dp/dh have?

i have 3 but they are all at zero. dh has one at zero too. we managed to get them all paid off couple of months ago. they are now only for extreme emergencies or small things i can pay off in full straight away

11, though I have requested that 6 of those be closed recently. We have access to over £100,000 of credit on those 11 cards. We have £55,482 debt on them at the moment, all at 0%. We use the Tesco card to buy everything to get the clubcard points, and transfer balances around so that we never pay interest. We do have sufficient money put aside in savings accounts to repay them all if we are refused more 0% deals and so can't transfer balances. (Which is starting to happen, hence closing the inactive cards). I reckon I have made over £5k from switching debt around on cards over teh past couple of years.

None - too scared of ending up in debt we can't handle! Avoid them like the plague!

I have an egg card, a liverpool victoria one, lloyds one, capital one platinum.... think that's it. So 4. Owe nothing.

Dp has one, First Direct. Owes about £140. He also has a river island card, and a house of fraser card (both at my insistance ) but again we owe nothing.

I like having them as back up but they are tempting (recently had £2000 on barclaycard and struggled paying it off) and I worry that either they'll get stolen or I worry when I owe money!

Dps limit is around £2000, mine in total around £15000.
