Has anyone yet received their CTC, mine was supposed to be paid into my account on the 2nd May and as yet there is no sign of it. The free phone line is constantly engaged.

I wrote to them over a month ago - never had any acknowledgement, let alone a reply.
Our details had changed significantly and I phoned in February to tell them, but we still haven't had the amended form to sign. Some money has gone into our account, but at the rate stated on the first form we had, so I'm not sure if we've been over- or underpaid. Still, it's there, earning a bit of interest.
I couldn't find an e-mail address either but would like to know it!

taxbabe - I think they got lost with the move last year. We have also been applying for a mprtgage and lots of other stuff related to this nightmare move - now 10 moinths late. So, I think they have just gotton misplaced. Normally we are great wit stuff like this. I blame it on having a baby.

I have this year's P60 - for the year 2002/3. Can I use that? That is what I am trying to phone them about.

No, it's got to be your 2001/02 pay. The 2002/03 pay- if a lot different is then your change of circumstances.

Sorry that everyone is having so many problems but spare a thought for the IR staff in the local offices who are having to take the brunt of the complaints day in day out without a break on the phone and at the counters. None of them have been trained for this & all are getting abuse when it isn't their fault that the govt won't pay for a decent computer system.

Thanks taxbabe. Our income is VERY different from the 2001/2 data. Any idea of how I can get hold of my p60 details? I am a teacher and work for the local authority. I know you can't get duplicates but will they release just the details I need?

Tried to get through most of the day agin today but no success. Why is there not more people manning the phones - they must be aware of the huge demand?

When we were applying back at the end of last year we couldn't find my DH's P60. to this day I have no idea where it went as I always keep these things in a safe place. But having had the house upside down on more than one occasion it has obviously disappeared into thin air.
We had to phone the IR and explain that we couldn't find it and the woman on the phone took his NI number and checked the address and then sent out a letter with his end of year amount on it. She also said that we could check his payslip for the end of March but low and behold we couldn't find that either. I think we have a gremlin in our house who eats important documents.
