Anyone going to the Baby Show at the NEC?

anyone going to the baby show NEC? I've just booked tickets in the hope of many freebies and possible bargains.

Just to add - SueW and I had a lovely day at the show on Saturday - I had to leave at three, but left SueW in fighting spirit!
We managed to sell a decent no of books, and, perhaps more importantly, spread the mumsnet message far and wide - lots of leaflets pushed into willing hands.
Managed to have a wander round too - great show - not as big as I'd expected, so perfectly managable. Just bought a summer grobag (well, ordered it), and nothing else - SueW got me some freebies tho' (thanks SueW!!)
Hoped to meet more mumsnetters, but only Bobsmum introduced herself (very nice to see a friendly face!) - some others popped along, and said they'd seen the site, but not posted yet - get posting!
So, despite being indoors on the hottest day of the year, good time had by all. Enjoyed meeting you too, SueW - 'specially enjoyed the gossip! Kept us going.......!!

It took me the best part of four hours to get home tonight, thanks to naff rail works and a lightning strike between Brum and Derby! Should take 1h15mins (or less if I'd taken the car).

I had a fab few days on mumsnet and the NCT. Loved meeting everyone - bron I heard you were looking for me but I missed you somehow! Yes, Leese, we did have a good old chinwag yesterday, didn't we, in between all those potential mumsnetters!

I'm now looking forward to doing Olympia in Oct, Glasgow in March and Brum again next year.

I enjoy chatting to the other stallholders as well - lots of opportunities to build up contacts. A number of people approached us about advertising/links/sponsorships and their details have been passed on. Networking seems too harsh a word for something that is so much fun.

Thanks so much to SueW and everyone who helped out with the mumsnet stall at the babyshow. Sounds like you did a terrific job promoting us and we're glad you had a good time into the bargain!

A bit belatedly...life has been frantic since Friday...

Mocha, JulieF and SueW, nice to meet you. Its great to finally see some mumsnetters in the flesh. Mocha, hope your husband got his parking ok for Sunday.

Congratulations to Lauren for her victory in the crawling race. Very cute knee pads.

Running the stall was actually great fun (in a masochistic sort of way) and the show was very good, so I recommend it to anyone in the London area who's available for October.
