We are trying to sort our things out, for selling, charity, packing etc. And I need advice on what we can take with us...

We know we have to leave washing machine, fridge etc, but can we take and use things like the kettle, toaster, hair dryer etc?

Is anyone in the North of France (Nord/Pas de Calais) or are you all in the exotic bits? We're moving to Pas de Calais in a few weeks time.

What great advice..

Can I take the washing machine then? I thought all white goods were not useable, so I'm glad I asked.

There is one thing I will definitely stock up on and that is Teabags! Dh will want baked beans as well.

Sorry Expat - that would be a NO!! So many people want to come with us..

Keep the advice coming please!

There's a Lorient near where I live but I'm sure it's not the same place, this is just a tiny village outside Bordeaux.

Don't forget Christmas cake and lots of packs of jelly!
