I'll start with.....

Toast crumbs in the butter
Bad grammar
Txt spk
Puppets
People who won't let you get a word in edgeways
People who think they are always right
Not washing hands before making food and
Talking whilst eating, so that the inside of the mouth looks like a cement mixer.

I am sure there are loads more but lets start off with that!

does Mick Hucknall count? Otherwise I can rationalise most of the other things I hate!

Yes Mick Hucknall counts and I am adding to my list - I think you can probably rationalise some of the things on my list as I got carried away so lets just change it to "what things do you just hate?"

Butterflies. They look lovely from a distance, but then you get up close to them and they are sinister big bugs! You would be amazed at the number of things for little girls that have butterflies on them and therefore need to be avoided.

Toilet rolls put on the wrong way round
Leftover butter scraped on to the side of butter dish
People not thanking you for letting them pass in their cars

aw why do you hate puppets? even sooty?

TV News programmes were they have two news readers (usually man and woman) reading the news. Why do they do that?

FGS - Richard Baker could read the BBC Six O'clock News news on his own when I was a kid. Why can they not do it now?

Oh, I forgot. Lots of artistically piled cushions on beds. Why FFS? Do you not realise that it takes me an extra 3 minutes to get into bed and then 10 minutes of anxiously rearranging them in the morning trying to recreate the original effect!

Abroadandmisunderstood - I hate the toilet roll put on in reverse! It was a standing joke when I first moved in with dh.
Also hate people that don't say thank you and usually tell them so!
Not all puppets, maybe not sooty, more like punch and judy, or string puppets like Thunderbirds - makes me shiver to even write it. That's one of the irrational ones.

Also Riven, back to what you said, I also hate that, or when people have put a newborn in abuggy and they look all uncomfortable and twisted. But I also can't stand people pushing round what looks like a 6 yr old in a buggy, and they are so big for it that their feet are trailing on the ground. No wonder there is an obesity problem.

ABetaDad- I was about to list Sophie Rayworth's stiff immobile face and Fiona Bruce's strange lower arms and the fact she evidently only owns 3 jackets (with all that money chuh!) and the female weather woman who breathes in the wrong place in sentences....then I realised it almost makes me sound like I have some sort of news fetish....

I don't mind anyone adding Mick Hucknall too though.

Hah! That's funny LadyMaMa - I dreamt last night that I was still using a buggy for DS2. He's 14! Even in my dream I was embarrassed.

Not really hate as HATE but get extremely irritated by people buying things out of season ie easter eggs in January, Christmas stuff six months before...

Because THEY ARE the reason I have to pass the HAPPY EASTER aisle in my local Tesco when my Christmas decoration are still up and got totally freaked out finding a snowman among my post when came back from May half term holiday. Yes, a Christmas catalogue.

I get annoyed with the shops but after all they are a business and if there was no demand... Please, stop it people , save up if you need to spread the cost...
Right now I want to think strawberries, cream, BBQ , not flipping Santa.

Big Brother contestants

People that hang loads of stuff in back window of car ie "Mum's Taxi", "Best Grandad", "Princess on Board", along with pink steering wheel cover, gearstick etc.

People that dress out of season - Uggs in summer, mini-shorts in winter.

Shop staff that treat you like dirt just because you are not dolled up to high heaven (when you actually probably earn triple what they do) - an example of this was today when I went to buy some moisturiser and the condascending sales assistant told me that it was very expensive, and kept going on and on about it - almost walked away.

I'm not a mean person honestly I am quite a happy person but some people just get right on my nerves!!

Not winding the cord back around the vacuum and just hooking/hanging it over the handle.

Squeezing the toothpaste from the middle and not the bottom of the tube.

People who carry on walking while not looking at where they are actually going.

When they ask you at the hairdressers if you would like conditioner...em, think they should know of all people - doesn't really instil confidence. Thankfully I no longer go to said salon.

Yes Witty - Can't stand people who keep walking and then bump into you and normally give you a dirty look like it is your fault.

I'm always asked if I'd like conditioner, and I'm glad they do ask as I always decline as it makes my hair go very frizzy.

I hate dd1 fiddling with the tv remotes while watching tv- she sort of clicks the back of the battery cover on and off repeatedly until it invariably gets knackered and either comes off and gets lost so the batteries fall out constantly, or it needs ugly sellotape on. It drives me nuts, and she won't stop- she isn't even the one with ASD so she's got no excuse!

People standing on the moving walkways at airports. They are WALKways people. Not "Stand and chat to your mates while we move ever so slowly through the airport"ways!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yy to bed cushions GooseyLoosey and satin beaded bed throw thingies too. My Mom has them and they look lovely but when you stay it takes 1/2 an hour to undress the darn bed (and she is very picky at how they need to be placed back again too).

Slim women with tits, they should be shot

People who can't park

People who leave their car running for 1/2 hour during the school run, parked up, presumably for use of the air conditioning, but in all weathers.
