Received a registered letter this morning without looking signed, this letter was not for me. Could i bring it back to the post office?

Why would he go mad? registered post is just signed for by an address, not by the person it is addressed to.

I just remember his father signing for one years ago and he went mad.
The address is for his home house, not our house. I just wish i didnt sign for this letter!!

registered doesn't have to be signed by the person it's addressed to only by someone at the address as proof that it got there.

Why would he go mad? You've not opened it have you?

Yes, as long as you haven't opened it then there is no reason for him to get cross. If you didn't sign then he wouldn't get his post so surely better you signed for it.
(although I have opened registered letters to DH if they looked important so I could call him and tell him what it was. He would never go mad)

No not opened it, if he knows he is expecting a registered letter thats ok. He didnt know about this one. Fine if he sings himself but i wish i didnt sign IYKWIM

Bills aren't normally registered, and if you are living in the same house then surely you should be involved with the bills as well.

Well the bad news in the letter isn't going to go away if he didn't sign for it!

That's pretty pathetic actually - if he is trying to evade debts by not receiving mail. It's NOT your fault and you shouldn't be blamed for the perfectly reasonable action of signing for mail.

You sound scared of him tbh - do you feel safe?

If you scared of his reaction over you accepting post, then maybe it is time to rethink your relationship.
