It's the 17th, 18th and 19th May - we'll be going on the 18th.
When we went last year, there were massive queues, so we'll make sure to get there by 10am this time. Although to be fair, they do encourage only one person to stay in the queue, while the rest of the group can go onto the platform and go and look at Thomas and watch Douglas going up and down the track, and there was a bouncy castle, a model railway and a wee roundabout to keep you (or child) amused.
Unfortunately, by the time we actually got on the train to go to the other end of the line, where the main enterainment is, it was getting close to ds's nap time, so although he initially enjoyed the trip (and you should have heard his squeals of excitement as we approached the station and he saw Thomas!), we ended up just staying on the train and coming straight back, by which time he was asleep. This year, he should get much more out of it.
The tickets are £7/person (over 2), or £25 for a family ticket (4 people).
