Went to the movies tonight to see Ned Kelly, and I must say I enjoyed every moment that Heath Ledger spent on the screen... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Just wanted to say how therapeutic it is to sit in front of a giant movie screen and stare at your favourite hunk

...except that he's too young for me so I guess I'll just have to fantasise about him. Orlando Bloom was in the movie too (the blonde guy from Lord of the Rings) so I found the whole thing totally enjoyable.

All I need now is Matthew McConaghey... (how sad am I - hope dh doesn't look at this thread).

I like your choice of men.

My choice has to be Sean Bean yum yum so rough and rugged.

Or; Antonio Banderas in interview with the vampire, that gothic look and long hair. oh yes.

whymummy · 19/04/2003 14:33

ninja · 19/04/2003 14:36

and...I...am...far...too...old...for...Justin...Timberlake...but...YUM!!!!!!

nerdgirl · 19/04/2003 19:44

Doormat and Whymummy, I couldn't agree more. I love that man, particularly in Sharpe!

My favourite episode has to be 'Sharpes Revenge' - "Beg yer pardon ma'am, yer door was locked". Yummy!

But wouldn't kick Hugh Jackman, Viggo Mortensen or Colin Firth out of bed either.

You can keep Justin though - too young and too pretty to be sexually exciting.

Bekki · 19/04/2003 21:43

Take that back about Justin! No actually - keep it (less people in the queue). Don't forget Leo in Romeo and Juliet and yes of course Orlando Bloom in well anything really.

whymummy · 19/04/2003 21:53

oooh!nerdgirl being spanish i always fantasise about being sharpe`s wife(dribble, dribble)

Ghosty · 19/04/2003 21:57

mmmmmm .... seen been ... shaun baun ... sean bean ... yup ... yumcious ....

Furball · 19/04/2003 22:19

Hang on! - What about Sean Pertwee? I have abit of a 'thang' for him at the moment, he also has a fantasticly sexy voice and does an advert before the ITV weather every night, drool, drool.

nerdgirl · 19/04/2003 22:24

whymummy, being Irish, I always fantasise about a passionate fling behind a bush! Alright, I don't but Ellie Nugent was the only Irish woman he had any romantic contact with, I think.

As for Justin, Leo and Orlando - they're just babies! Too sweet and cute and non-threatening. And the names! "Take me Justin!" Sorry, I just can't see it!!

Am i just looking for trouble, or what?

whymummy · 19/04/2003 22:29

nooooooo, elizabeth hurley too,she was his old flame isabella,i hate her!!

Nutjob · 19/04/2003 22:36

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Keifer Sutherland - phwooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! But not when he was young and a bit girly, he's is much better now he's older and more rugged. When he's Jack Bauer in 24 he could thoroughly interrogate me anytime........................

nerdgirl · 19/04/2003 22:39

I think "flame" is too strong a word, Whymummy. Wasn't she a prostitute and he an ex-client?

I never understood why he took her up on her offer of a freebie. I thought the scenes between Sharpe and Teresa is that episode, "Sharpes Enemy" I think, were the most touching and sincere of the series. It was totally out of character for him to behave so dishonourably.

But I agree, I totally hate her too!

whymummy · 19/04/2003 22:45

also christopher walken specially in the deer hunter when is singing i love you baby,

ay chihuahua!!

whymummy · 19/04/2003 22:47

Nutjob · 19/04/2003 22:59

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, yep whymummy loved Christopher Walken in the Weapon of Choice video too.

whymummy · 19/04/2003 23:03

nutjob i haven`t seen that one, i must get it!!

lou33 · 20/04/2003 11:26

Dh says it would be quicker to tell you those I don't have a thing for. Totally agree about Sean Pertwee, could listen to him for hours, it's the sexiest voice.

nerdgirl · 20/04/2003 11:32

whymummy, sorry Irish woman here. He didn't save me from anything so I still can't forgive him.

But, you know, maybe if he begged, on his kness, with no shirt on and all those sexy scars and ... ok, now I need a cold shower!

Mum2boy · 20/04/2003 11:33

Quite like John Corbett (the guy in My Big Fat Greek Wedding) although I think he looks better with short hair.

What does everyone think of the guy in Joe Millionaire???!!! (If you've seen the series yet, that is). Thought he was nice looking - great body - but was a little rough around the edges.

whymummy · 20/04/2003 11:42

no way nerdgirl, hes all mine!!hell have even more scars if he goes with you!!:0

Mum2boy · 20/04/2003 12:17

Robert Downey Jnr too... Mmmmmmmmmmm.... gorgeous.

Can't get enough of him.

whymummy · 20/04/2003 12:38

mum2toby i agree on that one as well, god i`m getting worse only last night i was telling my very suspicious dh that all i do in mumsnet is talk about babies to other mums

nerdgirl · 20/04/2003 18:16

I'll thumb wrestle you for him!
