chicken tandoori. cannot be asked to be anymore creative than that....

mummygow · 24/04/2005 15:01

prob steak pie from butchers and potatoes - if can be bothered later or if dh comes home from football match

KBear · 24/04/2005 15:24

Well there's a chicken in the oven roasting itself - I don't think a roast dinner will accompany it, can't be bothered with all that peeling. I think bread is good. Bread and chicken. Good wholesome food.

expatinscotland · 24/04/2005 15:31

Salmon, roasted potatoes, and green beans.

desperatehousewife · 24/04/2005 15:33

a 'basta bake' nikola?! Is that a bastard bake?

popsycal · 24/04/2005 15:35

chickem 'parcels' erm

bssh chicken breast, mix philidelphia with pesto. spread on chicken and roll it wrap in tin foil parecels and cook
with potatoes (rice for ds1 though~) and veg

LIZS · 24/04/2005 15:39

mmm, have chicken breasts but lacking inspiration so may give that a go.

Surfermum · 24/04/2005 15:41

Probably salmon and watercress sauce with mash and peas. What I'd like is fish finger and potato waffle sandwiches!

popsycal · 24/04/2005 15:42

can stick a squirt of lemon juice in, or bit of creme fraiche and basil

LIZS · 24/04/2005 18:22

Thanks again Popsycal, the kids and I enjoyed the chicken, philadelphia and pesto although think I overcooked it slightly !

Going to have home made bread buns with lots of different cheeses and plenty of wine! We both spend Sunday working (at church), so need to relax when the evening comes! Children are having pasta (just for a change!!!)

pinkroses · 24/04/2005 18:45

dh is cooking a roast all by himself

I've got a muscle spasm in my neck and can't move it so dh is doing everything for me whilst I get to lie back with my laptop...gonna see how long I can drag this on for

Chandra · 24/04/2005 18:49

merrygoround · 24/04/2005 19:31

Shepherds pie "as cooked in India" according to the recipe. Was delicious - just ordinary mince, tomato and mash topping, but with ginger, garlic, turmeric, coriander, cumin and tamarind added while the mince is cooking.
