i'm in the inner city and i have seen:

feral pigeons
wood pigeons
sparrows
robins
blackbirds
starlings
wrens
blue tits
great tits
magpies
jays
greater spotted woodpecker
am pretty sure i have seen green woodpeckers a ta distance in the neighbouring trees but wouldn't swear to it.

i feed the birds and have been hoping to attract finches with seeds but no joy.

Honey Eaters
Wagtails
Big fuck off magpies that hang around in gangs and have No Fear
Ravens
Varied Lorikeets
Parrots
Pink Galahs
Coloured doves
Rosellas
Black Cockatoos

and they all, except for the evil magpies, squwauk (that spelling looks VERY wrong) like banshees
How I long for some springtime English birdsong

chaffinch
tit
robin
thrush
magpie
wagtail

we see buzzard and heron flying around the house but they don't come in the garden - the heron would like to, to get at the fish but I've got sherman tank in the garden and that seems to put him off

we have owl and woodpecker down the lane too
