Hi, I don't know what to buy for my daughter for her 4th birthday.
I asked her what she wanted and she said a hairband. I asked her if she wanted anything else and she said a toy car that's blue like Daddys. I know she will be getting a lot of pressies from other people this year as she's having a nursery party. Is it enough for us to just buy her a head band and a toy car? I don't want her to turn out spoiled and the party will cost a lot.
What do you think? I thought about a toy didgital camera. I think she'd love that, as she loves our real one.
If you have any other ideas or if your child has this camera, please let me know what you think.

I'd get what she wants rather than giving her lots of pressies to open. as for the camera I think you'd be better buying a cheaper digital from tesco rather than the chunky FP one. Am sure someone said the pic quality on the FP one is not very good.

why not buy her lots of nice things for her hair with new hairbrush etc and also wrap up a new party dress?

Good idea, but she wants to wear her princess dress, no other dress will do. She's obsessed with this dress, I should try to buy it in a bigger size for when she out grows it.
I'll do the hair bands, brush for her and acctually, she could do with some pink shoes to match the dress. The problem is she'd have to try them on, either that or I could take down one of her shoes to match the size.

We got our 4 year old DD the Vtech camera for Christmas. She loves it - but she loves taking pictures with anything - we had to buy the camera to save my phone memory. She also loves playing the games. FYI if you have/know anyone that has a Costco membership, that is by far the cheapest place to buy the camera - around £30.

Agree, get her the hairband and toy car. Then get her tickets to see a show or to the cinema and/ or put some money in her trustfund. Both of these are more valuable long-term than 'stuff'.

Big crafty set - all lovely things that will keep her occupied for hours........pressie for dd and mum then!
