At age 2: running up to strangers in the supermarket shrieking "nop! nop! nop! Uh uh eh oh!!!" (in the style of Pingu)

(This always seems to get rewarded with an indulgent smile and an "ah, isn't she lovely" from said stranger - bet they wouldn't say that if I did it! )

Or farting, then shouting loudly in public "is trump!!!" (disclaimer - DH taught her that one, not me!!)

shouting "daddy I've shit" during a wedding (niece of a friend did that, aged about 3)

Standing on a chair in a restaurant, pulling up your dress putting your knickers on show then announcing 'But Mummy, I need a poo!' (DD1 at nearly 3 yo when she asked to go to the loo for the third time in 10 minutes. Man at the table next to us nearly sprayed his wife with coffee )

Plaits And dd's constant public rearranging of her pants

pissing in the gutter or against a tree

running around naked in the park!

My daughter burping in a shop and then asking the shop assistant whether she would like to smell it!!!!!

My husband and I looked away and the shop assistant pretended not to have heard. Thankfully she did not repeat it, she was three at the time. If it were now, aged 4 she would have kept asking until she got a reply!

Running around with arms windmilling in all directions.

Actually, I think we probably would all be happier if we carried on with this one.

Servalan · 30/01/2009 13:10

Ooh, some really good ones here.

I agree that freedom to windmill for all would raise the happiness levels of the human race

And yes - plaits - or bunches (I sported these at various times - ill advisedly - in my 20s, but wouldn't dream of it now!!
