Have seen the ads, i dont understand what is going on to be honest - can anyone explain.

I have a really old second hand tv - i support recycling and dont want to nor have the money to buy a new one.

Do i need to worry? Can and have lived without a tv. Have basic sky at the moment does this affect it?

Basically, if your TV doesn't have a built-in digital tuner (which it won't if it's really old) then you will need to have something to run through it once the digital switchover happens, because it won't be able to pick up even the 5 normal stations on it's own. But if you've already got Sky then that should carry on working fine.

The people who will have to do something are people who don't have Sky or cable, and have old TVs. They will have to get a freeview box, or Sky or cable, or buy a new TV.
