Does anyone use 'normal' bubble bath for kids (1 & 3 yrs), is there any reason we are supposed to use ones specifically aimed at Children?

That's it really..

In some children, the detergent in adult bubble baths is too strong and dries out their skin.

tis a markting ploy! most off the supermarket shelf are full of harsh chemicals anyway. Try and buy a 'skin friendly one' like halo n horns - tesco sell their range. or Boots do a range called 'little me'

I worry that the normal bubble baths might be harsh and drying to the skin, so we use Matey.

As SimplySally says, the detergent can be v. drying. I noticed DD would develop dry skin and this was just using own brand baby bath! So swapped to halos'n'horns brand up till about 20mths, now about half the time use ordinary adult bubble bath in order to have some bubbles for her to play with. Her skin doesn't dry out if I do this now, must be an age thing.

just be aware of Sodium lauryl sulfate - it is an industrial engine degreaser that they like to pop into alot of everyday soaps, shampoos and stuff and is extremely harsh and drying.

It is very hard to find products without this ingredient in.
