33 is Travis!!! (Why does it always rain on me?)

1 is Love is all around - who is that by?

er - that's it from me.

Azure · 05/03/2003 10:22

Now I'm never going to get any work done! Initial thoughts:

1 - Love is All Around - Wet Wet Wet
18 - Gangsta's Paradise (can't remember the artist)
47 - Is that Ricky Martin's Vida Loca?

GillW · 05/03/2003 10:23

Oh dear - I think this proves I know the 80's much better than the nineties! On first reading there aren't very many which ring any bells.

  1. Love is All Around - Wet, Wet, Wet
  2. Babylon - David Gray
  3. Cigarettes and alcohol - Oasis
  4. Earth Song - Michael Jackson
  5. Save the best for last - Vanessa Williams
  6. Livin La Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
  7. Bitch - Meredith Brooks
soothepoo · 05/03/2003 10:28

1 - original is by The Troggs (much better than the dirge Wet, Wet, Wet turned it into)
5 - Country House - Blur
11 - Moby - can't remember the title
20 - Stereophonics - theme song from This Year's Love.

soothepoo · 05/03/2003 10:32

26 - Manic Street Preachers - Design for Life (?)

whellid · 05/03/2003 10:41

Can hear a lot of these in my head but can't think of the names, so a few half answers
2 - Verve - Bitter sweet symphony
3 - All Saints - Pure Shores
25 - Brimful of Asha by Cornershop
41 - Can't beat the moonlight - I've forgotten who, but it's from Coyote Ugly!
43 - Fat Boy Slim, can't remember the name of the song

GillW · 05/03/2003 10:44

The Morcheeba one (12) is Rome wasn't built in a Day - got it once Bobbins got the title!
