I'm at a loss what to do or give.
We had to move house end of April, leaving ours empty and unsold. I asked my next door neighbour if she'd mind occasionally mowing the lawn/keeping a general eye on house (not have to go in or do anything)
I know it must have been a pain, and it's been a long time, tho I don't know at all how much she did/ hpow often etc
But it's finally sold & we go in a few days to sign etc and I really don't know what we should give. A bunch of flowers definitely wouldn't do it
She is separated from her H, so something for them as a couple would be inappropriate, and I know money is a it tight for them.
So - should I give a mixture of money (if so how much?) a gift, vouchers (difficult to buy as not in same country), and again - how much - it's really hard to to be insulting by giving too much, or too little. Or for what, fo that matter - as far as I know she doesn't really go out, doesn't drink. She is some sort of holistic therapist, so spa vouchers etc would be a bit of a busman's holiday.
