Responses to my complaints (Legoland and Swatch)

And Im pretty impressed

Legoland have sent me a detailed email, responding to each point I made, what they intend to do about it, etc. But the bottom line is they have offered all 7 of us free entry if we return to the park, when we choose.

Secondly, I sent my swatch watch back for the second time disputing the fact that they said its been accidentally damaged. They have now written back saying that they still stand by that but as a valued customer they are willing to offer me a 50% discount off a new watch.

Just goes to show that you shouldnt always take replies from companies fobbing you off

What were the points you complained about to Legoland?

Thinking of going.

We went to Legoland last week and I compiled a letter in my head on the way back, perhaps I should write it afterall.

What were your issues?

The excessive queuing times, which IMHO were horrendous, we had been to Alton Towers the previous week, still in the holidays and it was far better managed, only queueing a maximum of an hour even on major rides.

I also complained about how dirty their toilets were, absolutely stinking even at 10am, the stench of urine was so bad you had to hold ur breath.

Finally the lost child thing is rubbish, at AT you get a band which goes on the child wrist which they cant take off, also you get told where to go if you lose your child, and the child can see what the members of staff are wearing so they can recognise them. At Legoland you get a shit sticker that your child pulls off, no-one tells you where to go if you lose your child and all the staff wear different shirts so not so easy for young ones.

I hated it, I wont go again even with the free tickets. We are going back to Alton Towers instead for a birthday with all the kids, cant wait

I recently had a terrible day at Legoland. Was not a school holiday but an INSET day but it seemed the locals could get in for £10 and therefore the place was packed and had queues for all the rides, the most being 90 minutes! My husband was so angry all day and the whole day was just horrible. I complained to Legoland saying they should have made in clear on the website that this event was going on and I would have chosen the next day to go. They offered me entry for £15 per person and I am not happy.
