he really is well now I think
they stopped worrying when he regained his birth weight but until then it was pretty awful

Oh I see. Dd had a temp and stopped eating for a few days. Anyway, that's in the past.
Happy to hear everything is fine now, it's terrible being in a hospital with worry and hormones flying all over the place. He looks adorable (broody)

Franny - after dd1 tummy almost normal after 2-3 weeks, and fine after about 2 months.

With dd2 it took about 4 months I think. (I am now a size 10, and back to normal weight but she is 1 in 2 weeks)

It would have been quicker but due to the b/feeding I ate constantly - even in the night. I'm talking massive meals and snacks, family size chocolate bars etc. Even if you are not b/f I think that the tiredness makes you ravenous.

No NO, it didn't stay looking pg for 4 months. What I meant was that it gradually went down over that time... (sorry, didn't phrase the previous post very well).

If anyone searches who they think I am, and see who else crops up, you could either conclude I was the name you searched, or others that are mentioned in the same threads, because there's a gaggle of the pooor bloody usual suspects there.

I'm being deliberately obtuse because anyone might conclude I'm the wrong mner, and I wouldn't want someone plagued with IS IT YOU emails, of which I've received, er, one. From you. Sort of.
