She has a week to pack, a clingy baby, two older DC, and is possibly at the start of mastitis.

She says people can't help pack because she is throwing stuff out as she goes, but I am thinking that you can help with children, or if anyone fancies cooking a meal, washing some clothes, take her to GP, anything really that you think would ease things for her.

Her DP is working lots this week, so not available to do much

current plan - i ignore ds3's constant crying, get some tea down my neck because i forgot dinner () and do no more packing for now because i did loads today and have run out of boxes

tomo is sports day and poss toddler group in afternoon depending on whether the boxes are arriving here or at a friends

wednesday i pace because i will be too excited as we get the keys on wed after school

Hello! Well our furniture arrived today after 5 months in storage - and most of it kind of fits...

Our gorgeous huge bookcase wouldn't go up the stairs though so is outside at the moment - dp's Dad is going to try and dismantle it tomorrow to get it in..!

Ooh and we have gas!!!!!

So I've just stopped for the day, then back tomorrow and fingers crossed the electrician pitches up and we'll be able to move in on Wednesday.

How did we accumulate so much crap though?? It's scary - there's just so much stuff everywhere and nowhere to put it.

Glad you sound like you're doing OK Bluedragonfly. Bite their hands off with offers of going to the tip though - there's nothing more exhausting than staring at the huge mound of stuff you've just sorted out to be thrown away and then having to get it to the tip!

Just got in from an insane day trying to sort out the house. Electrician turned up so we now have an oven and fridge!

Officially moving in tomorrow, so that'll involve somehow getting ds2's bed to our house (it's about 1/4 mile away and we may have to walk it there...), plus all our clothes, food, crap that we've got here at my Mum's.

We need curtains for ds's room and fingers crossed the plumber's coming tomorrow to do outlet for the washing machine.

am superprisingly stress free today have done NO packing whatsoever today. In fairness, i only have one box left and am too excited DP meeting the letting agent at 3 at the house and i will go up from school after i pick up ds1. we have packedx some boxes in the car and our camp chairs and table so we can have tea there!

Dotty, glad you have a fridge and oven! Eek @ your furniture kind of fitting though! I just realised that i will be without internet in a few days, that will belike someone hacking off a leg lol!!!
Did you get your bookcase up the stairs? Our house has a twisty starcase so that should be fun while DP and his bro's hoist the furniture up them,

Phew! That was a long 24 hours without a computer..!

We're all in and slowly unpacking stuff - our new house is quite a bit smaller than our old one (we've bought it for the garden!) things are a little bit squished..!

but we're here and it's fab - ds1 asked yesterday if it was a dream - bless...

I will be offline now until i get connected at the new house!

Got loads in today, unpacked (well piled things up) and will get majority of the rest minus the big furniture things like sofa. Man with a van (FIL!) is coming saturday morning to help with that. The boys and i are moving in 2mo with our camp beds
