Next to the tea bags in the cupboard

On holiday I put my normal purse in a shoe, which I wore on the journey out. I had a separate holiday purse so didn't need my normal purse. On packing for the return journey I couldn't find my normal purse. I reported the loss to the hotel and cancelled all my cards. I wore different shoes on the journey home. It was a few months before I found my purse when I went to put the shoes on, lol.
