Same applies for if you have a disability but not chronic pain and if this isn't applicable to you but a family member. You don't have to read my plans below. Its long 😆

I have lifetime Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was born with it. I'm not someone who wants a big fancy house but I would have one built with a warm pool. This treatment is such a hassle to get on the NHS but in warm water I feel as close to "normal" as I can ever be. I could buy a detached house for my autistic daughter with mobility issues who is being taken advantage of by her prick of a landlord. Us living together wouldn't work we are too alike but we could see each other more often. Public transport is hard for us both but I would have a driver (I can't drive due to my joints) and she could afford taxi's.

I'd buy a motorised wheelchair (thats easy to get on and off public transport). I can't self propel and so rely on my teens to take me out. But when their at college/work I'm housebound. Its so frustrating and your world gets smaller and smaller.

I have chronic knee pain due to injury and cartilage problems. It doesn’t sound like much but it makes normal life quite tough.

I would buy a lifetime of very healthy food - the best quality organic produce and supplements - to help me manage my weight down as gaining weight makes my knees worse. I’d also invest in a good gym membership and PT, and regular physio and leg massages..

In one of the richest countries in the world nobody needing a motorised chair who can't use a manual one should have to pay or be reliant on others. Every government talks about disabled people being able to access opportunities but when it comes to coughing up. Crickets.
