Putting an enclosed trampoline up in a paved garden

Is it possible (and/or safe) to put one of those enclosed trampolines up in a paved garden?

I am looking at renting a house with a paved over garden, but DD wants a trampoline for the garden.

Would this work or do you have to have grass under a trampoline?

as long as its enclosed i dont think it matters.

what about that rubbery stuff down in playgrounds used instead of paving stones?

critterjitter · 15/06/2008 10:09

Would the metal poles move/slip about on the paving stones (as DD jumps)? Does grass stop this?

I'm getting all confused now!

Make sure they can get on and off safely, My DD decided to try getting on and off trampoline on her own, fell backwards as climbing off and broke her arm. She is allowed to go back on only if there is a grown up to help her on and off!!!

we have one for our DS and we only have cobbles in garden, it is fine. It doesn't have a encloseure either and he is 5.5

My friend has an enclose done on gravel and it isfine.

Only time dd1 hurt herseklf was getting down and missing the step so landing on the gravel in bare feet.

We have a large enclosed one on our patio which is just loose paving stones. It's not anchored in anyway but is too heavy to move around. Make sure the ground is level where the struts rest though otherwise it will rock.

the large (enclosed) trampoline we have at work (the biggest size TP make) is not anchored to the ground and gets moved around every time the lawn is mowed...

it does not move around at all when we are jumping on it
