I just want plain white, dinner plates sizes ones (c,27cm).

Cheapest I can find is £1.99 in Homebase. Ideally want to go a bit lower than that.

But it's worth trying

60 plates for £1.99 or £1.99 each?

maidamess · 10/06/2008 21:46

charliecat · 10/06/2008 21:46

Pennies · 10/06/2008 21:46

Or I think Tesco do 'value' packs of just plates /bowls, also dead cheap.

KatyMac · 10/06/2008 21:47

Only problem is that you have to live near Basingstoke (which I dont know if you do or not)

KatyMac · 10/06/2008 21:50

Beige & it is only 24cms

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/06/2008 21:52

Why has no-one asked why you need 60 plates yet?!

KatyMac · 10/06/2008 21:52

It's must be for a party - prob wedding or christening

BoysAreLikeDogs · 10/06/2008 21:54

Now I want to know why

Pennies · 10/06/2008 21:54

mollayswally - those are just what I'm after - sadly they're pick up only and the cost of the petrol to collect them would mean might as well get the Homebase ones.

Am intruiged by the Ikea ones - anyone actually tried / seen them?

Got Greek relatives coming to stay.

callmeovercautious · 10/06/2008 21:58

yes but why buy? You can rent China.

Pennies · 10/06/2008 21:58

Beige is do-able. Will take myself towards the nearest Ikea and investigate.

You can hire it if it's for a one off party or something. Or borrow from Village Hall/Labour Club/caterubg company?
