Forget green issues or travelling to Scandinavia, what has the fresh faced girl from Men Behaving Badly gone and done. Does is it look right to you. Is this every women's right?

Bet her agent isn't too pleased - after all, how many parts require you to look like a fish? The Codfather? Whiting for Godot? About a Koi? Oohhh it gets worse.

Do any of you ancient crocks like me remember Leslie Ash as a frequent model on the front cover of Jackie magazine in the 70s?
I always thought she had funny shaped lips at the best of times. Now the top one is seriously freaky. Her surgeon should be named!

I thought it was the bottom one which had gone wrong. Its really thick, she looks like something off of Lord of the Rings a troll maybe?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!! This thread is hilarious! Watched merseybeat for the first time ever just to see her tonight. Even dh was transfixed by the size of them. She looks like she borrowed them from Lolo Ferrari. She's ended up looking very simian I think.

Jasper- she also used to model starter bras in the ladybird catalogue- God knows how/ why I remember that!!!

The Sun has gone one better today and has pictures of other celebs and their piscine lookalikes on their website (oh shame on me for looking).

I remember her in Jackie very well, Jasper. And as a teeny modette in Quadrophenia. I think she looks dreadful after the implants and a lot older than she did with her despised "thin" lips. I am sure I read somewhere that she is mortified with how it has all turned out, so you could say good for her for not hiding in the wardrobe and crying for six months, which is what I'd be tempted to do.
At least she didn't have them done midway through filming Merseybeat. Melanie Griffith apparently got enormous new breasts halfway through filming Bonfire of the Vanities and if you watch closely you can see her chest expanding and receding excessively scene by scene...

I never noticed her excessively thin lips before - in fact I thought she looked great for her age - especially now I know that it was her in Jackie (thought it couldn't possibly have been her because she looked like a 'proper grown up girl' to me, as a 12-year old!). How old is she anyway? Also, did she used to be married to Rowan Atkinson?

I watched Merseybeat last night and was in a state of shock...she looks absolutely f***g awful, like she's had half her bum injected into her lips. Still, that, apparently, is what we should all look like nowadays girls, so start saving those pennies. Seriously though, I didn't know whether to feel pity at her appalling appearance or smugness at the result of her vanity.

and yes, she WAS married to Rowan Atkinson, so maybe that's it, she wants to look like him.

Isn't it a shame that these attractive women put themselves through this?. The most bizarre plastic surgery stories I know of relate to two incredibly good looking girls. One had surgery on her toes as she thought they looked ugly in open shoes and from memory it took her something like 6 weeks to recover from it. The other had surgery to try and minimise her allegedly thick ankles. This went horribly wrong and she is doomed to spending a large amount of her time wearing very peculiar surgical stocking type things.

I am so glad I have a DH who couldn't care a less about my many imperfections!.

I've never seen anything like it. I really thought it was my eyes at first! They looked so awful and totally distracted me from the story/acting. There was I thinking I had an inferiority complex!!!!!!!!!!

I think I must have wanted to start this thread because I can remember Lesley Ashe from 'Jackie' days. At a time when she was being marketed as what we would aspire to.

Those lips could have a magizine series of their own at the moment.

There are 2 pics of Lesley Ash on the aol homepage - she is such a pretty girl I don't understand what made her do it! However I remember "Ivy Tilsley" in Corrie doing it several years ago (she was much older at the time) and she looked TERRIBLE too (she got the sack IIRC) but her lips did go down after a while. I think LA just timed it badly...should have waited until she had a spell out of sight.

Still think she's barmy though!
