Surrogacy, could you do it?

Only thinking about this because have just been watching home and Away on TV and there is a surrogacy story at present. Just got me thinking about real life surrogacy, I think it is such a wonderful thing to do for someone but I know I wouldn?t do it myself because I?d find it too hard.

No. simply because I could not go through the pain of birth and not end up with a child at the end of it. I could do egg donation but not surrogacy.

Yes if it wasn't biologically mine.

You can do host which is when the couple have like IVF and it gets implanted into surrogate so it is couples baby

or surrogate egg and the couple provide the sperm. IYSWIM.

My friend went though so much trying to get her first baby DD that she wanted to give something back by doing it for someone else.

Money wasn't really an issue in either case.

Her husband and her were classed as infertile by lots of different doctors and hospitals.

So it is a happy story all round
