To wonder how many of you get on with your in laws?

Just that really - I find 85% of the family on my partners side so bloody difficult! My immediate family are much more smoother going. I’m just curious if it’s an “in-law” thing?!

My in-laws are lovely.
My late mum in law was the best person I've ever know. I loved her dearly and miss her a lot.

My mil can be very kind and caring whilst being extremely judgemental and snippy

Fil is loud, opinionated and difficult to talk to

sil is nice enough but can be a bit judgy amd moany

bil is hard work very prone to moodiness/sulks

I like them in small doses but I find them hard work. They can’t understand anyone who does things slightly differently to them. They don’t get me at all.

I get on okay with mine just because it’s so important to dh that we do, but I find them very hard going. The dc struggle too.

My family are very different but I think dh quietly finds my lot a bit hard going too.

I really like mine and was particularly close to my late MIL.

MIL is amazing.

SIL and BIL are fine (as long as we don’t see them too often 🤣)

I love mine. More than my own!

We get on great but it took a long time. And MIL was going through menopause when we met and for the first few years so she was nicer after that was done!
