Help with housing

Need some advice on housing. My situation is quite complicated and I'm just at my wits end tbh. My ex husband and I co-own a mortgaged house in both of our names, however back in July 2024 he rang the police and made false allegations against me. Since this incident I have not been allowed to live in the house, so for the past 7 months I have been living with family while my ex lives with the our 2 children in the house.

I feel so stuck, I am also 4 months pregnant, which my family don't know about. Rent in my area is super expensive also. I make around £1850 per month and a 3 bedroom house is way too expensive. However, even a 2 bedroom place is pushing it money wise, it's usually £1,200 for somewhere tiny! previously when I have said I have 2 children they turn me away. I have applied for a council house, but seeing as I technically own a house (even though I can't live there) they placed me on band D. I just feel so stuck and I need to sort something out, as I'm pregnant and need my own place asap. Any advice would be fantastic as I'm all out of ideas.

There’s more to this OP. You wouldn’t be unable to live somewhere purely based on false allegations.

Sorry OP what you're saying doesn't make sense. You've been forced to leave your kids in a house you own due to false allegations and you're now having another child? Where's dad, he has some responsibility. If it was that simple anyone could make false allegations, keep the kids and make the parent move out

Get the house put up for sale or ask your ex to buy you out or something. See a solicitor.

@Mrsttcno1 he rang the police and told them things that didn’t happen, they arrested me and gave me bail conditions which I have to stick to that includes not being able to go to my house. It’s now being taken to court, despite there being no evidence or witnesses etc. @gamerchick and yes, it is that simple, when I asked my solicitor this exact same thing he said yes basically anyone can say that and you will get arrested
