Primark - four for 1.50. And the green is quite a nice green.

CandiGifs have some light green ones, at 42p each before Bulk Discount. However, given the quantity you want, may be worth approaching them and asking if they can source the colour of Green you want - their supplier of the light green, may well do dark green.

Thinking outside the box a little, you could contact a textile manufacturer directly. For example Jack Oldham Textiles produce Machine Edged Cotton Squares, sold by the 5kg weight. Complete their enquiry form for pricing details and to discuss requirements. They supply coloured cloths, towelling is cream colour, but could be worth contacting to ask about what is possible.

Why 500? Are they for single use?
If so, colour isn't so important is it?

White ones will go a horrible grey colour after regular use- my ikea ones look terrible after constant toddler use (one use only).

KatyMac · 01/05/2008 22:07

That's why I thought green

at my old nursery we used towels cut up into squares and machine edged- by single use im ssuming theyd be used then washed then reused? are you only going to use these on faces or s 'botty' cloths too? a big towel can make 10 flannels and you can buy them quite cheaply

For dying hands - I thought

I'm not sure rural Norfolk is ready for re-usable wipes yet

they are actually a good idea- this was 15-16 years ago our nursery used them and we rarely had sore bottoms (children)
