SWIMMING LESSON £25 HALF HOUR, IS THIS REASONABLE?

dd is nearly 4, it would be one on one, in london, cant go to natural swimming as already have something on.

Well, DD is currently paying £22 an hour for driving lessons, so I'd think this is pretty expensive even for one to one -unless the swimmiming teacher has to pay for exclusive use of the pool.

That seems awfully expensive. When my ds learned about 7 years ago I think I paid about a fiver a session, tho' that was in a group.

Silly question but do your local authority do sessions? Ours do a course that works out about 8 a session I think. Not 1 to 1 but a small group

yes i pay £25.00 per half hour for one to one and i am in the north of england.

My 3 yr old's lessons are £70 for 12 lessons with the L.A (not one-to-one, but small group)

Gasp, that is expensive. Here in (expensive) Surrey it is £11 - £16 for half an hour depending on which pool you use.

i wanted natural nailpolish but they only seem to do sat am. she did ask where i lived as soon as i asked how much so dont know if that makes a difference. hmm, maybe i will look elsewhere. i wanted one on one as she messes around in groups.

Maybe the price was based on which pool you live nearest too. My friend's dd has private lessons, and I know the swimming teacher has to pay to use the local leisure centre out of what she charges for the lesson.

Hunt around a bit, there may be something a little more reasonable.
