I can't find many reviews online for the one I am looking at here

Will take any comments at all on Bissel as a brand for vacuums.

But I don't hate it....it is just not what I was expecting...

(oh and I hadn't thought about putting tools on teh hose....good tip)

But the extra tools we have don't fit direct on hose....and DP is complaining the wand is too long for the car.

(Guess what he is doing today).

We had already used it before we realised it wasn't the one we looked at. If I had realised my sandwich was wrong before I tooka bit I would have probably taken it back.

Slightly mad sweet - that's really annoying. Sorry.

SlightlyMadSweet · 15/04/2008 17:08

So whatcha gonna do about it then

You could design me a custom part which will fit on my hose and be compatible with the attachments in the car care kit . There are already 3 adapters in there for the different models. Another one wouldn't hurt would it????

Doesn't bother me directly BTW as my car is a large car and it will probably be fine - but it started raining before I got a chance to play with teh sticky on bits in my car. I didn't think MiniDyson would be happy having a shower...he doesn't need it yet he is still pristeen. BUT DP has a small car and vacs it about once a week/fortnight so his long wand may put a strain upon our relationship long term....

Actually I think I may rename my machine Camilla, it is such a nice name, and you are soo helpful and I could do with a nice adapter and I am not grovelling

I will do some digging about an adapter - or at least find out which attachements do slot straight on the end.

Cannot believe your DP cleans his car every week? Just had the indignity of DP's mum having to empty our car after it died. SO embarrassing all of the crud we'd collected...but that's another story!

I will let you know how I get on with attachements.

SlightlyMadSweet · 15/04/2008 17:55

TY. I would be very interested about teh attachments.

DP is a driving instructor so it sees lots of traffic and it has to be kept clean and tidy for his image. Mine gets done about once every 6 months!!!

At least thats what he tells me.....personally I think that he is trying to get time away from DCs .

P.S. That promise about the robot is down here in black and white....and I might even travel to Wilts to pick it up (could do with revisting some old roots)!!!

OK, so you can get an attachement for £2 - woohoo!

Bad news is that it won't power the mini turbine head, simply because the little darling ball doesn't suck hard enough to make the brush bar whizz round. But you will be able to fit the other bits on it.

If you want to order the part, its number is 912270-01.

Thanks,
Camilla

TY TY TY....will check it out. It might just save my sanity (or at least being moaned at every time he does his car)
