Hi i hope someone can advise…
old victorian house…knocked a wall down to make it larger…the floor fitter fitted 9mm ply and then screed…then lvt…
we have noticed there is a incline at certain points…and now the new skirts have been fitted in the new kitchen there are big gaps from them to the floor…
floor fitter said its because its a old house the floors are not going to be level…and he has followed the level of the screed….after he completed it…the kitchen fitter said no he just hasnt used enough screed…im so confused…is the floor fitter blagging me…please help

We had 3 things done on our flooring ( 1870s semi) ….a damp membrane thingy as some of the floors were concrete…..a levelling layer of the scree stuff then the final scree…..we had the kitchen, back lounge and hall and utility room all done …..some planks were fitted up to the skirting…..some were fitted up to the wall and skirting fitted later …..we have no gaps such as yours…..floor completely level…..8 years later still looks as good as new….we had a fitter from the shop we bought it from…..the prep work took far longer than it took to actually lay the LVT planks
