Would it be ok to send flowers to my friend who has just had a miscarriage, or are flowers a crappy idea?

I had flowers for mine, although I'd had a d and c so it may have been for that reason - sort of a 'get well soon' message...

I knew people were thinking about me. Lots of calls I couldnt take as I would choke up easily, meant that sending flowers, people thought they could get a message to me withouht me having to actually 'speak' ....

I just passed due date for m/c at end of March, and I would have really been upset if I got a card or flowers then. It was a rough and rotten time, and I absolutely didn't want anyone to bring it up (except DH, as we talked about it).

Flowers and/or cards immediately after m/c, however, were fine. Just my viewpoint, for what it's worth.
