BNoth Dd's are going on a Brownie camp 2-4th May, and so on the 3rd (Sat) I wanted to find something to do with Ds.

I did consider the Dr Who exhibition in London, but a)it might be too expensive and b) it might scare him even though he adores the programme.

Thanks all, I am a real novice at train journeys so don't really know what I am doing.

If you are a novice, does that mean you wouldn't be very confident on the tube? Cos you'd probably need to use the tube once you're in London. Maybe we can find you something else a bit closer to home if that would help?

The Snowdome at Tamworth, as mentioned by Puppydog, is good (easy to get to by train from Brum)and has an area for little ones - might be busy though.

I would be scared to death of the tube tbh.

I didn't know I could get a train to the Snowdome.

Coacj trip to London is coming in at £27 for us both but thats travelling to Victoria coach station, which I asume is nowhere near where I want to go.

Where's the exhibition?

CrackerOfNuts · 06/04/2008 19:08

Earls Court.

Apparently i'd have to walk from Victoria coach station to get the district line from Victoria Underground station and then get off at Earls Court.

That sounds easy, but I dunno.

I reckon that's only about 3 miles so you could taxi it if you're unsure.

PuppyDogTails · 06/04/2008 19:13

Or walk if you're feeling energetic!

There's likely to be a direct bus too.
