Both dd's really really want to go to this. It is 3 hours of singing, dance and drama on a Thursday evening.

At the mo the only way I can even consider it is if xp agrees to pay half, as although they have offered me a 50% sibling reduction, it is still alot.

Anyway, I just wondered if anyone had a child that went to one of their groups and could tell me if it is worth the money.

Thanks

Oh crap, it might be a non starter anyway. Just checked the bus timetable and it would be an hour wait after class for a bus ride home.

sounds like a long time for a week night tbh. Are there no local drama groups ?

CrackerOfNuts · 04/04/2008 15:51

Unfortunatly not. Around here we only seem to get the franchised expensive groups.

Have just arranged for her to go and look at a dance class tommorow, so we'll see how that goes.
It's alot cheaper, and easier for me to get to, plus it's on a saturday and by a park which would be good for the other dd2 and ds.

My main concern with them is that they apparently take up to 25 children in a class. That is a lot of children in a drama/dance class. I have taught 15 in a group and that is plenty so I don't think you would get value for money.

For your ds2 emma, i think it is £150 for a 12 week term. You get a 50% reduction for a sibling.

Dd1 wanted to go because 2 of her friends from school go, but looking at it now, i think it will just be too much for me.

I think i'm gonna try and get her to stick to the dancing instead.

Jut thought emma, how old is ds2 ?? They have to be 5 for razzamataz.

Remind me again how old they have to be to do tag rugby by the way ?? Still thinking about it for ds, although currently he is totally not interested in any type of sport.

he is 4.5.

Harry started tag at 5 although really it should be 6.

Alfie is starting tag next year (sep 09)

Dp is also a mini's coach there. Its good- very sociable aswell.

CrackerOfNuts · 04/04/2008 16:49

Yeah ds could do with being a bit more sociable, as could I as you know LOL.

So Ds would have to start after xmas then, if I can persuade him to give it a go that is.

Might see if i can find a clip on youtube and see what he thinks.

My friends son plays rugby at your club I think.

My dd started Stagecoach a couple of weeks before her 4th birthday (the official start age is 4.) It's £152.50 per term for the Early Stages class.

She loved it (she is in the older class now)

tiredemma · 04/04/2008 16:55

how old is your friends son?

Tag is very good for confidence etc. You should come along one sunday when i am there just to watch, ds2 doesnt play yet, he just runs around like a loon.

CrackerOfNuts · 04/04/2008 17:10

LOL

Will definatly try and pop along one sunday. Have feeling that Dd2 will be more interested in it than Ds.

My mates son is 10.
