Husband making it up to you

How would you expect your husband to 'make it up to you' and show you that they really do love you after he allowed himself to start an online emotional affair with another woman when he was going through a really bad mental heath period?

@rainontherooftop I do not feel sorry for my husband in the slightest over his actions. I have not given him the slightest bit of sympathy over what he's done, trust me on that one. I know he was going through a really bad period of mental heath for months before it started.

What do you mean by make up? I don't think anything makes up for that.
He needs to demonstrate that you can trust him through his actions. Showing you his phone/emails unprompted, refusing any "risk" situations such as drinks after work or whatever it was that gave rise to the affair, demonstrating commitment to you/family through spending quality time/support/chores etc, going to couples or personal therapy to address root cause of affair.

That's what I'd expect to see

I don't know of any man showing genuine remorse. Generally they want to blame you and for you to joys shut up about it. They will act contrite as they need to be to get you there.

My husband hasn't blamed me in the slightest. And if he even attempted to, he'd be gone!

Make it up to you?
How can anyone ever make it up to you? They can't.
