Can you remind me? How do I measure myself to get the correct bra size?

I'm now pleasingly buxom (for me) so need a little bit more support. Thank you

Is this any good?

Well i went into m&s a couple of weeks ago and asked to be fitted. I am 36" round rib cage and 46" round fullest bust. They tried all sorts including up to their largest 44H and then said "sorry we've got nothing to fit you. So i headed off to Bravissimo and the lovely ladies there fitted me with a beautiful 36GG which fits perfectly. My advice: head for Bravissimo

Thank you festivepussy (like the name), will do it properly when can find a tape measuer.

Sadly jampot, I thinking more Mothercare than Bravissimo. This buxomness is temporary

I find those things that tell you to add on X number of inches to your actual measurements just don't work for my body. For example, I'm told I'm measuring an exact 40in band size, but I know that a 40in band size is far too big for me as the bra instantly rides up my back and gives me no support at all. I need a 36-38 depending on make as they vary so much (I'm pregnant so it's all change here too!). The fitters at M&S are mostly rubbish IMO. I think maybe a specialist shop such as Bravissimo might be a better bet.

At least try on a variety of sizes. I'd not waste money on maternity bras if you plan to breastfeed - just buy feeding bras.
