Because I have had my post deleted and I don't understand why!

my housework has been done tomorrow for, er, days several hours.

you got deleted for that?

farkin' 'ell

TheAntiFlounce · 17/03/2008 20:15

I know! Not Fair.

I'm telling, actually.

I think a lot of people get bent out of shape for FA reason.

And that nothing should be deleted on here unless it's potentially defamatory in the legal sense or flagrantly racist.

expatinscotland · 17/03/2008 20:19

I think MN loses something when it deletes all these things because newbie gets offended when they don't understand how the board works.

I think a person should have a designated length of time posting before he/she can put in a request to have posts deleted.

Twiglett · 17/03/2008 20:22

actually I think that's a bit trigger-happy .. I've requested deletions before and been given a long-winded explanation why not

deleting for sarcasm or irony isn't the MN I know

WigWamBam · 17/03/2008 20:24

MN is turning into Babyworld.

Bloody shame, if you ask me.

expatinscotland · 17/03/2008 20:28

Amen, WWB!

expatinscotland · 17/03/2008 20:29

that's why I think: designated length of time before a new poster can request a deletion of someone else's post.

that why they can hopefully piss off once they realise the warm cuddlies are at Babyworld with the tickers.

themildmanneredbunny · 17/03/2008 20:31

did i get deletd for telling her she had a broom up her arse?

TheAntiFlounce · 17/03/2008 20:51

No, MMJ, you did not.

It is clearly discrimination of the very highest order and I demand reparations!

LDC will be fine.
