However bad you think it is going to be it's far worse turning 60

When you find tbe answers, can you let me know please? 😂 I'm in my 30s flying by the seat of my pants.

Do you have a pension? Do you understand your pension?

The younger you get that sorted the better, so if the answer to either of those questions is no, fix that before turning 30.

Haha wonderful 🥲

I am 32. My bust completely changed between 30 and now, independently of any weight gain; it was quite scary. Had to go and buy new bras.

I suspect this is the beginning of a long road though!

If you get into a relationship and or live with someone don’t do all the ‘woman’s work.

Make sure ALL of non work stuff is shared equally. Don’t even think of having a baby if this is not the case.

Get married before having a baby. If you buy a house, make sure it’s joint owned.

If you stop work to have children and raise them, make sure your relationship stays equal.

Start paying into a good pension now that is as good as your partner.

During your life, when there’s a big decision to be made consider what your situation would be if you ever wanted to divorce in 10/20 years time.

No one marries thinking they will divorce, but things happen and people and circumstances change. The relationship topic on mumsnet will be an eye opener to you.

Can you tell I made most of these mistakes?

Onna related note: if you have children with someone, child-related expenses are shared expenses. They are not the mother's sole responsibility.
