Help me price things up for an NCT sale please!

I am doing an NCT nearly new sale on Saturday and I have no idea how to price things. It is one where you take your things with labelled up rather than having a table yourself, so there is no opportunity for people to barter! I would rather price things lower and get rid of them to be honest, as I need the space, so most of dds clothes and toys I am going to price up as £1. I have lots of nice maternity clothes that I got for work but now no longer need as I have had to take maternity leave earlier than expected, so most of it is in new condition and still in shops. Is it reasonable to ask more than £5 for things like this? And I also have baby bjorn carrier and Jane Powertrack 3 wheeler with footmuff, changing bag etc in great condition that I don't want to give away but don't particuarly want to cart home as the whole thing is acting as a space clearing exercise! How much are people generally willing to spend at these things?

Look on ebay for powertrack/baby bjorn - buyers tend to know what things go for on there I find
maternitywear stuff, ime, sells badly - so price cheap

I have looked on ebay but the buggy seems to be going for over £100, I am just too lazy to ebay! Would someone really pay that much at an NCT sale?!

maternity wear may sell better on ebay especialy if it is still current. Agree get an idea of a realistic price for expensive items such as pushchairs and slings from ebay. If you volunteer to help you can always mark things down after the first half hour

LL - i worked at our local one last year. alot of stuff went unsold - people had over priced it. i woudl suggest putting outfits together of baby clothes or a number of similar items together in a bag.
maternity stuff went cheaply so dont put too high a price on it or you'll end up taking it home with you.

toys went really quickly though - alot of people came just for them and bigger items like buggies, cots, stair gates etc.

good luck

Not sure where you are but in our sale in Luton (also this Sat!) I doubt you will get a decent price for the Jane (we have a 5 year old one that is still in daily use and I know what we paid!) Ebay would be a MUCH better bet.
£1 sounds fine for clothes/toys.

I found that I've got just less than half price for the toys and equipment, but very little for the clothes.

If you can be bothered you could make more money on the nice maternity clothes on ebay, and the Jane Powertracks also go for good money on ebay too.

Expensive buggies DO sell at NCT sales (we've sold ones over £100 before) - but you have to be lucky that someone who wants exactly that buggy...
Worth putting it into the sale, though - if it doesn't sell, you always know there's a (slightly more hassle) ebay option as a back up
