dd1 LOVES the sugababes. she knows all the words and they are in concert at the edinburgh playhouse (so its quite a nice venue, all seated, not too big) and its in the school holidays so it doesnt matter that its a sunday night

what do you think?

They are hardly Rihanna ffs

Youcannotbeserious · 04/03/2008 17:35

We took my DSD to the SPice Girls when she was 5 and she had a great time (1999).

We've also seen Steps, SClub7... a few others I can't remember and the Spice Girls again this year.

nailpolish · 04/03/2008 17:35

youcannotbeserious, did your dsd think it was loud??

DualCycloneCod · 04/03/2008 17:37

yes.

CountessDracula · 04/03/2008 17:37

omg
I know your taste in music

Novicecamper · 04/03/2008 17:38

Ooh I like Sugababes.

Although have to say, my friend took her dd to see Take That (I went too, of course!) and she found it too long and she was incredibly tired - she sat slumped in her chair for the second half absolutely knackered. She was 7, almost 8 at the time.

The other thing I wonder is if it might be a bit raunchy? I dunno - mind you 'it only takes a minute' was a bit racey at the TT concert!

I know what you mean but I think it pretty much goes over the head of a 5 yr old.

nailpolish · 04/03/2008 17:40

so should i just take her to 'lazytown live' then

OP posts:
Novicecamper · 04/03/2008 17:41

The lyrics I mean.

Same with friend's dd WiiMii - it was almost 9 before TT came on so she was shattered.

nailpolish · 04/03/2008 17:41

yes i agree novicecamper

NomDePlume · 04/03/2008 17:41

I wouldn't. Mostly because I'd worry that I'd waste the money and she'd either be deafened, crushed or not able to see a blardy thing.

Novicecamper · 04/03/2008 17:42

LOL @ 'lazytown live'!!!

Tbh nailey, I think I'd wait till 8ish at least.

Up to you of course.

(btw, am gobbledigook in disguise - well I was in disguise )

NomDePlume · 04/03/2008 17:42

plus the sugarbabes are utter poopy

nailpolish · 04/03/2008 17:42

ndp she wont be crushed. its all seated, and poeple pretty muchstay in their seats.

No sugababes are fabby sing-a-longy type pop - I think they are great!

But I'm a pop type of gal. Hate indie drudgery stuff.

Novicecamper · 04/03/2008 17:43

Nailey - have changed name to Elphaba (from Wicked!!! Ha ha!)

nailpolish · 04/03/2008 17:44
