Loads on mn are recommending buying lo's shoes direct from the factory..
Not just clarks but other manufacturers etc..

So how much cheaper are they..? Our local one would be clarks in kendal and wondered if the saving is worth it or would the extra saving cost us in petrol iykwim..?!!! .

Anyone know....?

Ie a pair that costs £26 would roughly be how much..? £24...£20...£10...??????

I always found that we'd be looking at about £14 a pair, so the extra fuel to get to Street from my mums at Bath was well worth it for 4 pairs of shoes

(Don't know whether it would be worth a special trip for one tho)

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 17/02/2008 10:44

They have measured at Street, Spalding and Bicester for us...so I guess they do it at every store

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 17/02/2008 10:45

TBH physical measuring is only part of the measuring. Checking the actual fit is also part of "measuring" IMO which would obv need to be done at point of sale.

I get the dd's shoe's from clarks factory outlet in street, i pay £10-£15 for shoes, £5 for slippers and doodles. I tend to go when they both need shoe's to make it woth the trip.
