A challenge for anyone who knows London

DH and I have lived in London for 33 years between us and now we're moving back to Scotland ()

We smugly like to think that we've done pretty much everything we'd want to in London, but ...

Can anyone suggest anything we should do before we drive out on the M40 for the last time ever on July 12?

Peatbog, I left London at a similar time of year and one of the last things I did with ds1 was to go to Somerset House to see the courtyard fountains and let him and his mate dash through them, and then over Charing Cross Bridge to look at the boats on the Thames and then an ice cream and a walk along the Southbank finishing up on the London Eye.

oh god I thought this was a thread about what to do with your kids

well the obvious answer to the OQ is to go and have a dusk shag on Hampstead Heath.

PeatBog · 07/02/2008 10:40

But somehow one can't plan that sort of thing, Suzy

And it is for stuff to do with kids too, so don't worry, your suggestion has been noted and filed.

Posey do you have a fundraising page? I don't know anyone doing it this year and I would love to sponsor you.

PeatBog · 07/02/2008 16:47

Posey, I might just be up for doing it

Have done 52 mile walk in 24hrs before now. Twas a few years back, but I still have legs and feet - how hard can it be?

Ooh thanks Mars
I don't have a fundraising page, but may just have to and will let you know.
Just for your info, my reason for doing this years (after saying I would stop at 3 times having achieved all my goals) is that my dear sis was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and following a double mastectomy, chemo, and now recovering, she and I and a handful of friends are doing it. Will be rather emotional I think.

Sorry for hijack everyone
