who gets along really well with their mil?

I get on really well with mine ... better than my own mother some days

i love my ex MIL and still see her occasionally, i really miss her

I got on really well with mine. Loved her loads. Got on better with her than my own mum. She was fab fab 'nanny' (my only nettle) she came to visit often, we went on holiday together quite a few times. Totally gutted when she died in October.

I really love my MIL. We get on really well. My mum died in a car accident a few years ago, and unfortunately my DH and his family never got the chance to meet her, but my MIL is so similar to my Mum it's uncanny.
She is always there for me, and wants to be in "The Room" when I give birth to her first grandchild on 20th Feb.
I feel extremely lucky to have such a lovely mum in law. I know others are not as fortunate.
