My dd loves it when I sing to her (God knows why!) and I have been dredging up songs of my childhood from the back of my brain - stuff like "Puff the Magic Dragon" and "There Once was an Ugly Duckling", but I've forgotten most of the words/tunes. I was looking for a cd but most cd's seem to have just nursery rhymes on and I've got one of those. Any suggestions?

The Museum of London shop has a whole range of "nostalgia" music CDs, inc. several with traditional children's songs. (The online shop doesn't list those in particular, as it's just a selection, but if you call them they will tell you what they have. We have one of theirs, of traditional music hall songs (my children are older), & it's a riot ... I'm Henry the Eighth I Am.)

ELC usually have some good ones - altough they do irritate you after the 57th time you've heard them although I guess that's the same for all of them
