Hi I'm hoping for any ideas/suggestions if possible.

My DD is turning 1 next month and we're having a party for her in a hall with a small bouncy castle and soft play. A lot of my friends who are coming have similar aged babies however there will also be about 10 children aged between 4-7 that will be coming. They're cousins of my DD and older siblings of my friends babies.

These children will be catered for in terms of food cake and sweets etc but should I also be looking to entertain them? They're too old for the BC I've hired and the soft play.
There is a big bit of a grass attached to the hall that they can play on but should I be looking to get a bigger bouncy castle for them too? They range between £70-£150 to hire and of course the bigger the more expensive but will this be a waste of money? Or would you get some games they can play on the grass? Just worried weather might be cold mid Oct.

DH says we don't need to but I'm unsure.

Not entirely sure what to do. If anybody has been in a similar situation and has any suggestions then that would be great. Thanks!

Gosh, yes, definitely think you need something unless they're the type of kids that can entertain themselves anywhere.. I'd be worried about the weather in mid October though, I don't think I'd be hiring a bouncy castle for outside, could you play indoor games instead? Have a disco, that sort of thing..

Yes i would have entertainment for all the kids at a party. If they are invited they need something to do, they are still young.

Bigger bouncy castle seems good idea and will stop them trying to use smaller one.
